Red Seal Inter-Provincial Certified Licensed General Carpenter

As the owner of MaKenady Construction Services Inc., Scott Guillot felt that one of the many criterias for operating a succesful general contracting company was having the capability to show credibility in the construction business by demonstrating hands on work practice experience and education. Completing and achieving a diploma as a Red Seal Interprovincial Certified Licensed General Carpenter is one of the corner stones of MaKenady Construction Services Inc.
To complete this Red Seal Interprovincial Certified Licensed General Carpenter Certificate is as follows:

  • 1. Documented work practices in all construction fields totalling 7200 hours
  • 2. 24 weeks of in class college construction courses
  • 3. Final exam administered by the Ministy of Training, Colleges and Universities

Scott Guillot also continued his education in the construction industry by completing one year of Civil Engineering at Cambrian College with a course GPA of 3.8.

Back in 2002, the General Carpenter Exam had a %91 fail ratio, outlining just how hard it is to complete and that these diplomas are not just being handed out as the expression goes in cracker jack boxes.
